# Rounding in price

Rounding occurs when you are referring to the nearest value at a single decimal place. You can round to the nearest dollar, the nearest penny, even the nearest tenth of a penny. The rounding value can be set while defining the price (Step 4).

For example:

Let the value of rounding is 0.5.

In this case, if a member has a balance of 1.25 which has a decimal value between 0.1-0.5, it will be rounded off to 1.5. Similarly, if a member has a balance of 1.75 which has a decimal value between 0.6-0.9, it will be rounded off to 2.
